Sugaring at the Audubon Center!

Today we went to the Audubon Center in Huntington!  We learned about sugaring in a Bird Friendly environment.  So much fun and what a beautiful day to be outside enjoying the first day of our Vermont spring!

Studying Vermont Geography!

We've been working hard to learn Vermont Geography in school!  We're pretty good at knowing the 14 county names and locations.....but now we're trying to get good at knowing the rivers, lakes, AND the mountains, too!  We'll get to show off our knowledge at the end of the month!  Good luck!  And keep up the good work!

Odyssey of the Mind Champions!

Yay!  We have classmates who have worked really hard for a long time to produce a first class presentation at a recent OM competition!  Congratulations to Genevieve, Noelle, and Katie !!!!  Way to go!  Good luck at Worlds in May!!!

Great work Casey and J.R. !!!

The Annual RES Science Fair showcased students' interests and learning all throughout the school!  Two of our classmates participated in the event and proudly shared their love of Solar Power and Hydroponics.  Well done, kids!

Learning About Fractions!

Putting fractions in order and comparing them can be hard work, but also lots of fun!  We played some games and worked in small teams (including one whole class team!) to figure out some conjectures about fractions.  Super cool!

We Made Vermont Maps!

Thank you families for our salt dough!  We had so much fun learning about Vermont by making our maps! They came out beautifully, as you can see, below!  We're pretty excited about them!
